Polly came into the care
of the Croydon
Branch of Cats Protection (CPL) on the
28th August 2003 after being cared for by an elderly lady called Joan
who had fed her as a stray for a month. Joan was rather worried as her
own cat, Noggy, was being frightened off by the new arrival.
Polly was found to be suffering from hyperthyroidism, keratitis of the left eye, abnormal liver function thought to be caused by a tumour and to be about sixteen years old. She was treated for her medical problems and lived with us very happily until the end of March 2005 when over a period of a couple of days she succumbed to her illnesses. She was put to sleep on the 1st April. For high quality images for printing please click picture. |
